About Melinda Hohn

Founder, Retreat, Event Host, and Experience Curator​

I’m Melinda Hohn, the founder of Journeys Collective and Sisterhood Journeys. I'm not a healer- I'm a space holder. My passion lies in creating intentional space and experiences where everyone feels safe, supported and seen.

I didn't set out to start a business- I set out to find healing. Moving from the East Coast to Arizona and becoming a newly divorced, remote-working mom, I found myself craving something more, something deeper- real connection, deep friendship, and space to reconnect with myself. With no built-in community and a heart ready to rebuild, I turned to what I've always loved: travel, gathering people, and creating experiences that feel like home. That's when I made a decision that changed everything- I signed up for a retreat in Italy.

It was the first time I had ever invested in myself in that way. I traveled alone, not sure of what to expect and returned home transformed. I met incredible people. I felt seen, supported, and understood. And perhaps, most importantly, I remembered who I was.

That experience lit a fire in me. It became the inspiration behind Journeys Collective- - creating space and community where others could travel, connect, and grow just as I had. 

Through thoughtfully curated retreats, events and gatherings, I facilitate moments of connection that invite reflection, togetherness, and shared experience. This work isn't about fixing or guiding-it's about walking beside one another as we navigate life with openness and heart.

Through Journeys Collective, I curate inclusive events and retreats that are open to everyone- regardless of gender- who seeks meaningful connection, personal growth, and authentic community.

Sisterhood Journeys is dedicated to creating sacred spaces for women-only gatherings centered on reflection, connection and shared experience. These events provide a space for women to come as they are, to be seen and supported without expectation or pressure to be “healed”- only held.

​

What started as a personal need to provide space and experiences for others to connect and be held evolved into something much greater. Today, that vision has grown into not only hosting my own retreats and events, but assisting other coaches, healers, and leaders bring their visions to life too. 

​

I believe every gathering is a chance to feel seen, every destination is an opportunity to come home to yourself, and every person deserves a place to belong. 

​
